Chartron et Trébuchet Bourgogne Chardonnay 2021

Traditional vinification. The grapes are pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery in pneumatic presses. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged 8 months; 50% in oak barrels and 50% in stainless steel tanks.

Good generic Chardonnay. White currant, stone fruits (more like nectarine), and grapefruit. Good structure with crisp acidity and a lively mouthfeel with flavours of lemon tart. That oak definitely added some complexity.
